Firestone Freezer

Identity, creative, merchandise

Every year, we pick a charity to help and provide them with the works for free. The Firestone Freezer is Plymouth’s annual New Year’s Day swim fundraiser event in aid of local charities. After the tremendous success of its 2018 launch, in 2019 it was looking to build on its momentum.

Yet again, i look for collaboration and to our motion guy Calum Campbell-Coles. We bashed our heads together right from the start and developed the identity, right through to the website, merch and animation. The result? We helped the Firestone Freezer reach a whooping £5K in donations.

Who’s behind the Firestone Freezer?

Four guys from Stoke had a vision to bring the community together and embrace the cold.

Artist Brian Pollard produced a bespoke interpretation of the icy dip as a charitable donation. We turned this into limited edition framed prints and postcards.

Merch sold online boosted their targets!
