Pairing Past
and Present

The campaign masterfully interwove classical and contemporary elements, showcasing the rich tapestry of The Box's offerings. The first phase centered on "Reframing Reynolds: A Celebration," commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Sir Joshua Reynolds, a groundbreaking portrait artist and Plymouth native. Reynolds' mastery in capturing personality through his portraits, coupled with his esteemed role as a founding member and first President of the prestigious Royal Academy in London, cements his legacy as one of the most influential artists of the 18th century. This exhibition served to highlight Reynolds' deep connection to Plymouth.

Dappled Light:
A Symphony of Colors

The second phase of the campaign shifted focus to Rana Begum's captivating "Dappled Light" exhibition, featuring sculptures crafted from vibrant reflective tiles that shimmered under various lighting conditions. Inspired by Begum's residency in St. Ives, the exhibition presented a mesmerizing journey through her artistic vision, culminating in a breathtaking large-scale "cloud burst" installation that left visitors awestruck.

Footfall Figures that Resonate

Dell' Anno Studio and Just Enough Brave take pride in their contributions to bringing these exhibitions to the forefront of public consciousness, playing a crucial role in driving footfall. Plymouth City Council's figures reveal an impressive 246,000 visitors to The Box during 2022/2023, a remarkable increase of over 40,000 from the previous year!

Abigail Netcott, Marketing and Development Manager at The Box, expressed her profound satisfaction with the campaign:

Working with Dell’Anno Studio and Just Enough Brave has been fabulous! Their combined experience has helped inject new life into the design of our marketing promotions, all within a super-tight timeframe. The campaign has helped us to reach a wider audience and increase footfall significantly.
