Headland Hotel

Brand identity and brand character

For more than a century, The Headland has been one of Cornwall’s most iconic hotels. They came to us asking for a rebrand that respected their traditions but re-established them as an unpretentious, modern, 5-star destination The brief: to create a new tool kit for look, feel and messaging at all touch points that reflected their belief in relaxed luxury, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. With 125 years of history we had a lot to pull from.

The single-minded proposition:

We’re five-star Cornwall,
not formal – it’s The
Headland tradition.

‘In 2021 we undertook a re-branding exercise at The Headland and were extremely impressed with how Nick listened to the brief. He then questioned our 40,000 customers along with 190 staff to dig deep. Aided by copywriter Jim Rickards, Nick has produced a comprehensive brand document which is being used to help create a new website. We highly recommend Nick and Dell’ Anno Studio.’
